German shepherd obedience training is one of the cornerstones of our puppy dog and service dog training programs, because they are easy to adapt to any kind of training.  We train all breeds, but German Shepherds  are a personal favorite of our chief trainer.

bulletThey are very intelligent but, more importantly, they WANT to please the people that they love - this is what makes German Shepherd training a pleasure.
bulletA German Shepherd can be trained to use his mouth as a tool and not just a weapon.
I have taught German shepherd dogs from carrying things to opening doors.
bulletIn my career of training this breed of dog I find that each dog is unique, and can never be compared with another German Shepherd.

You will see many pictures of German Shepherds on this web site, performing many different jobs.

In the military, all the dogs that I trained were German Shepherds.  They are taught the obedience to the max, also how to crawl, back up, and most of all to learn how to track. German Shepherds are unique because they can track in the water, land or air.  This is a picture of Ranger, who was my very best Search and Rescue dog.
